Why should I get checked for Breast and Cervical Cancer?

bulletEvery year, more than 1,600 Michigan women die from breast cancer.  160 women die from cervical cancer.
bulletThere are simple tests to screen for both breast cancer and cervical cancer.
bulletIf you are 40 years old or older, you should get a mammogram (a type of breast X-ray) and a breast exam.
bulletThe test for cervical cancer is called a Pap Smear.  All women should get routine Pap Smears from their doctor or health care provider.
bulletThe best way to survive cancer is to find it early and treat it.

We can help you afford it.
