Healthy Families is a voluntary program designed to coordinate and enhance services to families in Shiawassee County with children through the age of 3 in an attempt to provide each child with a healthy start. All services are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL.
What can this program do for me and my family?
Healthy Families is designed to help with the needs of you and your child. Having a young child can be stressful for everyone. Healthy Families offers support and information from a trained staff with experience working with children and families. Healthy Families can assist with helping you find baby supplies, diapers, and formula.
What services are provided?
What can Healthy Families do for my family?
Healthy Families can assist in getting your family in touch with people who can help with such things as: employment, transportation, counseling, food, health care, and education.
What are the qualifications?
Healthy Families will attempt to serve any family with a child through the age of 3 years, which meet the program risk factor requirements. There are no income, gender or race qualifications.
